Frequently Asked Questions

Know what the 30-day path means.

Can I really become a Loan Officer in 30 days?

The Academy is structured around an accelerated 30-day training and licensing path. Actual license issuance can take longer depending on required NMLS education, SAFE exam scheduling, fingerprints/background review, credit requirements, state processing and sponsorship or regulatory approval.

Do I need mortgage experience?

No. The Academy is designed to start with fundamentals and build into practical origination skills, including applications, qualification, loan programs, documents, underwriting and closing.

Is the $250 the entire licensing cost?

No. The $250 is for the private Academy training system. Required NMLS-approved pre-licensing education, testing, fingerprints/background, credit report, state licensing and other regulatory fees are separate.

Where do enrolled students train?

After enrollment, students use the American Licensing Academy student portal at ClearToHome.com/academy.
